“Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”

It was 20 years ago this June 12th. I was just out of high school then. I remember watching the speech at the Brandenburg gate on television and the fall of the Berlin Wall and thinking that a new era of peace was being ushered in. Suddenly all my fears of nuclear war were fading, like tatters of clouds after the storm has passed.

Commemorate the event with this free poster from Young Americas Foundation. Remember what a great man Ronald Reagan was and what great things he did for the world. This poster contrasts the conventional “wisdom” with Pres. Reagan’s statements on the character of the Soviet Union. Looking back, we see that the wisdom of the day was foolishness, and that Pres. Reagan was right.
