Several bloggers have posted their responses to Romney’s answer to an anti-war activist asking a ridiculous, illogical question (did we expect anything else?) They can be found here, here, here, and here.

The good folks over at Evangelicals for Mitt have a great post about the double standard to which Mitt Romney is being held. Glad to see some support for Mitt from the Christian right, as well as some good sense.

Before I get into this, I want to establish a couple of qualifiers. First, I like Fred Thompson. He seems to be a personable, likable guy. He doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously, and he gives the impression of being very confident in himself and his abilities.

Here’s one for the books. The Boston Globe is printing a series of articles called “The Making of Mitt Romney.” The first part is headlined “Mormon church obtained Vietnam draft deferrals for Romney, other missionaries.”

I read Hugh Hewitt’s blog critical of John McCain. Some of the comments posted there left me chagrined.
